The one-minute rules

1. Gather 3–16 people around one phone, or 3–8 friends in a private online room.
2. Choose a name and word language for every player.
3. Privately check your card. Most players get the same word; the imposter has to improvise.
4. Give one clue each. Don’t say the secret word.
5. Discuss the clues. Vote privately for the player you suspect.
6. Catch all imposters to win. Imposters win when they match the number of remaining ordinary players.

Two Words mode

Everyone gets a word, but the minority gets a related one. Your card won’t tell you which side you’re on. Listen carefully for the little differences.

Can we use different languages?

Yes. Each person can choose English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, or Kannada, in native script, romanised text, or both. The game only selects concepts available in every player’s chosen language. Regional packs can have a smaller shared pool. All regional language content is currently an editorial preview.

We keep getting unfamiliar words

Choose the Everyday pack and an easier difficulty. Regional movies and local references depend on what your group knows. You can also create a local deck of your own inside jokes. Small custom decks repeat sooner.

What happens if we leave the app?

Local games save after every action. Returning covers secret information until you confirm you’re ready. Keep only one active tab for the same local group. Online sessions reconnect in the same browser tab using essential session storage; losing that session may require the host to restart a round.

Why can’t everyone join the room?

Share the whole invitation link, including the part after the # symbol. Rooms hold up to eight people and expire after two hours. New players join between rounds. The host can abort an interrupted round if a player leaves.

What if voice doesn’t connect?

Check microphone permission, use headphones, and try a different network. Some networks restrict direct audio connections. Text clues and discussion work independently of voice, so you can continue the round.

Is Bluffli in the app stores?

The browser preview is available now. iOS and Android builds are being prepared; store listings will appear here once they are released. There are no subscriptions, advertisements, or payments in the web preview.

Reset or troubleshoot

In the game, open Settings to clear recent word history, restore local defaults, or export anonymous diagnostic counters. Resetting local data removes your saved groups and custom decks. A staffed support channel is still being prepared for store launch.
