When you pass one phone

Your groups, player names, game progress, word history, settings, and custom decks stay on that device in local storage. They are not sent to a Bluffli account. Clear them in Settings → Reset local data, or clear the app’s storage. Browser storage can be removed by your browser.

When you play online

Private rooms send display names, language preferences, clues, chat messages, votes, and game actions to the room service so friends can play together. The server holds the secret roles and returns only your own private card until the result. Invitations grant room access; share them only with people you want to play with.

Rooms expire after two hours. Expiry immediately blocks access; database expiry deletion runs asynchronously. Closing a room clears its current game, clues, votes, chat, and voice signals. Hosting providers process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service. Short-lived hashed rate-limit keys limit room creation.

Microphones are optional

If voice is available and you enable it, your browser requests microphone permission. Bluffli does not record audio. Peer-to-peer audio may reveal network addresses to people in your private room. You can always keep the mic off and use text. Leaving a room or turning voice off stops the microphone.

No advertising or tracking in this preview

This web preview has no advertising SDK, behavioural analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. Essential browser storage keeps the game and your online session working. Native advertising and purchases will require separate release configuration and updated disclosures before activation.

Hosting and external links

Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services deliver the website and game service. Their infrastructure may process security and operational logs under their own policies. External sites and app stores have their own privacy terms. Avoid sharing personal or sensitive information in room messages or player names.

Questions and deletion

Local information can be deleted directly in the game’s Settings. Online room access expires automatically. See Help & rules for the controls available in this preview. A staffed contact channel will be added before store release.
